importing 22 ammo for competition

Post by denong » Thu Oct 09, 2008 3:46 am

hi
just hoping someone would solve my problem. its a established fact, that to import 22 ammo i have to be a renown shotter. but suppose i am fresh into shootng sport, am i supposed to start with a KF ammo or earn the renown status using a airrifle.

Not necessarily. You use the imported ammo provided by your state association.

If you use an air-rifle to qualify for the MQS, you will only get permission to import an air-rifle and pellets.

hi Mack The Knife.
do u know what ammo the NRAI delhi uses for practice. I was told normal members are given KF ammo at controled rates. but for the renown shooters, they get to use imported ammo according to there quota.

I am not sure what NRAI dishes out to its Delhi members. My state association buys SK and Eley .22lr rounds from the NRAI.
