Hello Guys the Bowie is in production but I am actually overwhelmed with local orders at the moment and have been reluctant to announce it on the board.

Will take orders on a person to person basis provided that delivery of 4-4 weeks is acceptable. No bulk orders please!

I can vouch for the knives excellence and so can eljefe and a few more. Was trying to get a review written for it but it didn't happen. Will get some pics posted though as they will say thousands of words.

But you are anyway swamped with orders Jonah. :-)

Not a bad idea at all :)
Maybe the blade could be made a wee bit smaller too :)
The thread is about "Design proposals for the IFG members knife." located here: http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php?p=54584#54584

Hmmm...

Thanks for the compliments guys! It would be most flattering to get the knife accepted as the 'official IFG Knife' I am about to order an etching machine so that we can have any slogan or whatever etched on to the blade of the knife. I am not too sure about bulk orders though..

Jonah stop being bashful and get into it man. You can do it. Since most are willing to accept your terms. It would look great with the IFG logo.

I whole-heartedly agree :)
We all know of your excellent work. We can make a list of IFG members for you, who would want it, and you can keep sending it across as you make it. Need not exactly be a bulk order for all of us to receive it at :dang: the stroke of 12 on the 6th day... :) :)

Just say Yes and make a bunch of blade-happy IFG-ians damn happy :)

I am another one to vouch for the bowie knife "Made by Jonah", albeit a bit late...

The knife is extremely sturdy and well built and looks like it can take the knocks and whacks of daily use. The handle is solid too...basically wooden with rivets fitted into and holed through and through for putting lanyards... what more can i say... :P

Hi Jonah!

I was waiting for some activity here.

Please count me in for one. I'm not concerned about the month's wait.

I have two queries though:

Would it be possible for you to replace the rivets with screws? This is so that I can change the handle material if needed.

Secondly, can you have the blade, powder coated in black?

Thanks!

Mo.
