IOF .22 or/and IOF 30.06

Post by The Doc » Sat Sep 27, 2008 1:04 pm

I was wondering ............

With IOF 30.06 just at the horizon  , how many of us IOF .22 owners/users would actually

1. Let go of the .22 and buy a IOF 30.06 ?

2. Buy IOF 30.06 as well as keep IOF .22 ?

3. Keep IOF .22 and ignore IOF 30.06 ?

best,

RP.

It's option # 2 for me as I was fortunate to get an additional rifle licence. Whether this happy circumstance actually comes to pass depends on when the IOF .30-06 rifles are available to the general public at a fair price.

30.06 rifle

Got some very good response from people interested in the IOF 30.06.....

30.06 has a very different feel when compared to the .22 rifle.....each one in a different aspect.

Would love to retain (if possible).....along with a .22 rifle.

i will wait for someone knowledgeable and experienced person to give a good review of .30 06 after use. If its good quality gun, i will go for it.

with rimfire ammo being much cheaper than the 30-06 cartridges, given a chance i'd keep both! but then, i like a full gun safe

Hmm... actually I'd prefer a Mauser action sporter or even a military Mauser... don't much care for shooting rimmies,in spite of all the practical aspects in their favour :P Lets see maybe next year... inshallah! :)

Cheers!
