walther
Hi,
I've just joined - great forum!
Any idea where I can currently buy a walther pp, ppk - s or tph? I only need this for personal protection in case of emergencies - no serious shooting or sport use. Need an immaculate, un-tampered example. What should be the value?
Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
Am in mumbai...
Thanks

Hi Roger.. Welcome to IFG..
For a minute I was shocked to see you asking for a PPK with the British flag in your profile
Do you mean a relative new piece when you say 'Immaculate'?

hi Roger
well come to the ex pat club(well cannot speak for all)
i think you will find it a little difficult to get one, first thing first do you have a Indian license.?
if not then the question stops here, since without a license you will not be able to get one from dealers.
you may end up paying around 3+ Lac easy.
regards

You'd be very lucky to get a PPK or PPK/S for 3 lacs! From what I hear the usual going rate for these is 6+. If you are interested a friend may have one for sale, it's in .22 LR and was directly imported by him circa 1984. What is your arms license area of validity? Maharashtra only or is it all India?

I've been offered some around this price, a few considerably below so really depends on the condition and originality.
Its valid in Maharashtra but am in the process of all India. Can you request your friend to mail me pics if possible?
Thanks

Up North for around 3 one wouldnt get anything beyond a Browning/Bernadelli and that too not in
the best condition.

What sort of lingo is this. I could not get the meaning of what you wanted to convey. Could you please be clear in your words and text for everybody's sake! Yes Doc it does deserve the "dhinchak dhinchak " treatment Ha Ha Ha!
Thanks
