Actually, for some of us who shot for the first time or so, we did manage to get close, with a couple of nicks too... :)

Aah, good old days of Army Attachment camps, Combat shooting..... 6' wall and the venerable .303.Wonderful days in NCC. Just take care enough not to hurt yourselves guys and train gently. Will the RSM also be training?

Any idea when my next shipment of Ballistol is due?
Great then (thanks to my brother who bought the scorpio) :) I'll watch this thread to see how this shapes up and I hope this happens. and I am fine for the whole day on Sunday, can come over to your place anytime and we can go. As for Ballistol, not sure when I'll get some - next maybe early next year..we'll catch up on Sunday.

cheers

Now look here you cheeky sod, I know I am terrible with a shotgun but not THAT bad! I shall also have you know that I was the only one who was able to dust the brick on Sunday and this with KF No. 4 and a full choked barrel at that. So there! :P

I have shot at a frisbee before and they are amazingly resilient. This one took a good few hits with KF # 1 from the Brno and still kept flying.

Oh yes...another thing...Shankar has kindly lent me his Barnett Safari compound bow to play with and I will be bringing it along. Kindly form an orderly queue and have your wallets out. Thank you!

Just to wet your appetites...

Sure guys, lets go this weekend too :)

Mack The Knife, would be great if you could work out what the ammo costs- We dont want to shoot a hole in your pocket

Hmmm...laying the ground work of excuses already, eh?
Will the RSM also be training?
Indubitably! The vocal cords and the right foot. Would sir care to join?

My place is on the way, so please do as I dislike driving in the city. Keep the Ballistol coming. Gifted two cans to a couple of friends, so I only have three.

Done! Looks like it is going to be an afternoon-evening session.
Mack The Knife, what do you plan to use as target for archery?
Can Boy's rump.
I think its best if we line up in an alphabetical order.
Surname's first and the cut-off is at 'R'.

Since you are the host, we will naturally expect to have a buffet and campfire laid out and you will also have the pleasure of paying for the rounds. I shall also expect a comfortable arm-chair with foot stool and peg table and a nubile masseuse in attendance. I drink Laphroaig without ice or soda and smoke premium Cuban cigars. You may go. (Makes dismissive gesture).

Bullshit aside, I would prefer to get there early and cut the dried weeds to make suitable shooting lanes. Or could your caretaker just cut or burn all the stuff? The soot would muck up the clothes though.

No excuse.. but you have to agree that in low light, shooting bricks with just one shot for a gun being used by the shooter for the first time is not very easy...

BTW, my name, as entered in my passport (a photocopy can be sent to you for validation) has my surname starting from 'C' - Chanraipatna :) :)
