Pahdon me Mack The Knife, but ye are such a bonehead. Now, tell us, which one do you want. The one with the buzzard motif engraved........

Mack The Knife,
Just talked to Louis' brother, my buddy Linus and his H&R was sold to - who else - Scott Armoury as well. So, unless Scott has resold the gun to someone else, both must be with him.
Please check - he also had a nice Diana air rifle in 22 which he sold along with the shotgun though that must have gotten resold very fast.

Mehul,
It appears you did not get my e-mail sent some days back (or did I post about it here???). I asked my friend in Chennai to look up the H&R at Scott Armoury but he informs me that the shop has shut it's doors for good. Some of the guns were sold to Sambandan's (spelling?) shop and any guns on deposit that were not claimed are now in the custody of the police.
Birdie's son may have left for NZ by now.

Mack The Knife,
The police have an armoury at Saidapet where they actually sell guns to license holders. If these guns were surrendered to the police then they may be there - if they haven't been resold. Just ask your friend to check with the CoP or call the police armoury direct.
Sammandan died some time ago and his son now runs both shops, the Triplicane one as well as the smaller one at the Anna Cinema Theatre. The father was somewhat greedy, but the sons are good lads. You could ask your friend to check with them if you like.
I am also aware of a very nice 12 bore DBBL (didn't think I'd be using this jargon ever ) gun belonging to an IAS officer that is with Sammandan for sale. It is a Sauer and if you want it I could ask him (he is a good friend of my father's.) If it is for someone else then I wouldn;t want to stretch things, if you understand...
Cheers,
Mehul

Grateful if you could get me some details. However, I cannot commit unless and until I actually get the licence.
Thanks.
