From Bangalore

Post by blackmamba » Fri Aug 15, 2008 10:20 pm

Hi All,

Sure picked up a nice day to join this great forum .
Wishing everyone a HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY !!

My name is Jude and I am a resident of Bangalore.
I am a member of WASI for the past two years and have been angling for a while. It was with the bamboo rod or handline previously.
I owned an indian .22 airrifle ,hunter 27(udaipur) in my childhood. And had my share careful what you post out here. Hunting is illegal in India now and such posts are not allowed here

Always have dreamt of big shikar but  born a few years too late.
So now thrive on Jim Corbett and Kenneth Anderson.

This is a great site and has some very interesting reads.
Wishing the owners and moderators all the best ! Keep up the good work.

regards
BM

Hi Guys. Thanks for the warm welcome.

And sorry for being indiscrete(rule 2) on what was posted.
Will not be repeated.

Right now I own only that indian 0.22 airrifle model 27 hunter from udaipur. More than 20 yrs old. More of a sentimental value .

Call myself BM as part strategy to get my two sons Arjun(King Cobra) 11 and Anjan 7 (Coastal Taipan) more into wildlife.
Encouraging them to watch more of Animal Planet,Nat Geo,Discovery ...rather than their violent Cartoon Network. For only an hour a day.
And more of outdoor activity than being couch potatoes.
Their favourite outdoor holiday spot is WASI cottage.

And, Doc ...I still listen to The Beatles, Elvis, Jim Reeves, Englebert, Don Williams, Cliff,............
