Hope the rules r same for everyone

Posts that don't fit into any other category. If it's anything to do with guns, it probably doesn't belong here!

Hope the rules r same for everyone

Post by Rahul » Tue Jul 29, 2008 3:23 pm

hi all,

plz chk the reply by Rustom Bana on http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php ... &start=255.

jst to brief u guys, it all started on http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php ... &start=240, with my post(2nd last on d page). As i started it a new Topic with specific subject and text in the post, and expected it to reflect under AirGun section as new topic. But mean while it was moved to one of the current threads "Airgun import experiences - via personal baggage route" by one of the moderaters. I was absolutely clueless abt it as it happened to me twice as i have mentioned in my post. Mundaire was quick enough to reply the explaination And me too, to accept my mistake.
But finally, Mr Mack The Knife Bana managed to spot some "spotty teenage punk" in my post. He managed to spot few more mistakes in my next post as well.

Plz correct me if i m wrong. do u find anything so harsh in my posts to force Mr Mack The Knife Bana to write me such kind of reply? he could have done it in more proper ways by sending me a PM or an email, if he found something wrong in my posts. THE KIND OF LANGUAGE MR BANA USED TO CORRECT ME IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AS WELL. Hope the rules r same for everyone including moderators.

I have referred this forum many times. And many well knowledged IFG members has helped me with their words of experiences. U got all rights to correct me if i m wrong. BUt i m not logged in here to get myself insulted. "Some of us old grumpy farts have a serious blood pressure problem when we see such posts." as u mentioned in ur post Mr Bana, i can suggest u many things but dont want to cross the levels any more..

Hi Mack The Knife Bana,
I ll use soft language as i always do. But hope u ll take care of the same as well.

Best Regards
Rahul

Whether you speak 'soft' or 'hard' wouldn't bother me in the least. Just make sure you don't use that ruddy text speak here.

In future, if you need to whine, don't do it in the airgun section.

Hi rahul,

Ahhh you don't like the way Rusty addressed you eh? Well all are equal here and so go ahead and lay it on to him :-). But I've got a feeling it will be you who will end up running to the casualty wing.
Even I detest text speak and think that he has been kind to you so far. But please feel free to use the choicest adjectives and let's watch who gets to round three. I've got a pretty good guess who will :-).

Now Now Dev/Rusty stop scaring off the newbies !!!
On a lighter note the only way to settle issues such as this in my boarding school (Lawrence School , Sanawar) was to "have it out" behind the pans(loos/bathrooms) - Ha Ha Ha.

Cheers nd lets just all Chill.

Dear Sir,

You have following mistakes in your post

Title: Hope the rules are (not r) same for everyone.

Please check in place of plz chk
Just to brief you guys------ jst to brief u guys\
2nd last on the page ----- 2nd last on d page

There are many more and I don't have time to point all of them. So please edit your post and please post in relevant section from now on otherwise moderators will delete / move your post.

With Best Regards,
-Inder (a common IFGian - who also hates text speak on the forum)

I hope that’s mellow enough for you and I don't think you ever been member of big forums. I know some forums where they will delete your post before you know it and will give you a warning too. Forums like TeamBHP won't even let you post more than two smileys in one post.

So my sincere advice to you is behave when you are at a public place and abide by the rules of that place..

Have fun now

Rahul, you've got a mild case of Rustivitis, take a Chill Pill and you'll "GET OVER IT". If he didn't like you, he wd'nt reply to your posts. :)

For the umpteenth time, when people get an internet connection and log on to these sites, they forget to pack a very important accessory, a very thick skin and leave your ego behind, no space for it online.

This silly thread does seem to be generating some unusual interest. So, I apologise to Rahul for being 'hard' on him but also warn him and all those who use text speak that they risk having their posts zapped if they continue typing gibberish.

I would also like to add that this does not apply to those who do not have a good grasp of English. Such posters have my respect for making the effort despite not being familiar with the language. However, those lazy so-and-so's who wont make the effort will be dealt with as mentioned above.
