hi friends ,
i am new here ,ive just returned to India after a long period of time in the united states where i owned and used various guns. some of the guns are listed below
Ruger p90 9mm
H&K USP .40SW
Mosin Nagant bolt action 7.62X54R
Winchester 1300 12 Gauge Pump action
now that ive been in back for some time ide like to get at least one good pistol for my self .
And i am here to get some advice on what is available and the channels i need to go through to get one.

I saw the title and thought someone here had acquired a pup! :lol:

Welcome aboard fachero, if you'd been visiting this board over the past couple of years you may have been able to dig out the information you needed to have imported a nice handgun on your return to India!

Unfortunately that avenue is now closed... wish you all the very best in locating a good handgun - do let us know how your "hunt" progresses :)

Have you returned permanently or temporarily to India. If you can go back to US and then come back on TR (Transfer of residence) then you can bring one gun back with you. If you have already returned permanently then yo have to apply fresh for a license and go through whole nine yards to get a gun

well i am yet a resident of the us and do go there often but i plan to spend the the near future here...

Well, then check out the legal sub-section of the "Knowledge base" here and read up on the thread covering imports of arms & ammo. You may still have a chance to import a nice handgun at a price that won't make your eyes water...
