Bomb blasts in Bangalore

Posts that don't fit into any other category. If it's anything to do with guns, it probably doesn't belong here!

Glad to here that everyone on IFG is safe & sound. My condolences to the family & friends of the deceased and hope the injured recover soon.

Don't think I can say enough to condemn the cowards who perpetuate such mindless violence! :x

Don't worry about Arif. He knows what he is doing. If it's any help he is a practising martial artist - fifth degree black belt or some such thing. Not that any of that 'hoo-haa' will help against a mob.

Have told him to call when he gets home and will keep you posted.

Arif has reached Chez Ali safe and sound. Probably drenched to the bone though thanks to the incessant rains.

How can anybody take a human life....with a well thought out plan at that! It sickens me to the core thinking that we call ourselves beings with superior intelligence....and as human beings do this kind of thing to our fellow humans.

My heart bleeds for both those affected by these acts of human cruelty as well as those fools who perpetrate such violence.

Something really off the mark but I have always wondered why do the cops cover the faces of the rapist, murderers, etc when they show them on the TV. Seeing the face could atleast fore warn many people......one could be dealing with such a person without ever knowing who he is.

One thing is that it 'could' be some rights and rule of the constitution. Another thing is that the person may not yet be proven guilty and should not be 'exhibited'. On a public note, it could be to ensure the person's expressions and face value does not effect the image that public will comprehend. A very sad face may bring about a notion in public that he is being ill-treated, while ruling emotions over facts...
Would actually like to know why, though :)
Back to the blasts, I am actually happy that Bangalore has not reacted in any shameful way. Many-a-times, public incidents make the people go on a rampage with mob-fury. This time around, we have all behaved like good responsible adults, listning to facts and being patient enough with the authorities, letting them do their job without more hurdles...

Someone else, on another forum, opined that these blasts were more of a training for something bigger. The thought shudders; and I hope and pray nothing like that happens.
