Chinese pistols ? forget them man they are trouble in all forms. Now chinese pistols made under the guidance of a reputed international company is a different ball game . Stick to our humble IOF products .

baracho, i have used a number of Chinese pistols in last eighteen years and i found them very good to excellent performance wise although a lot can be done cosmetically. this is true for TT33 copies in .30 and 9mm. then i bought the Norinco CF98 which is an original Chinese design, made from polymer and with rotating barrel lockup which i sold recently, at the moment i am looking for a Norinco NP22 which is a beautiful copy of Sig P226. i have searched very hard for a copy of 1911A1 but did not found one yet. you have mentioned the guidance of some international company, would you please like to mention which company it is.

Here's a discussion on the Chinese (Norinco) clone of the 1911 pistol - http://forum.m1911.org/archive/index.php/t-3.html

Seems like they've got some very satisfied customers in USA...

Cheers!

true abhijeet there is a strong liking in USA for chicom 45 but they are banned after 1994, they are made of good steel and were used as base gun for customization. they are still sold in Canada & other countries. in USA Philippine's made RIA are very popular now a days as plain jane GI guns. in our side Chinese made pistols are very popular but nobody imported 45 caliber as it was banned before 1990 & it is think obsolete by gun shop owners who play a major role in decision making of the buyers sadly.
