Now that the thread has already gone a bit off, I'd suggest TwoRivers, look into getting a digital back for your Leica. That way, you can burn pics directly digital.TwoRivers";p="46269 wrote: Shucks, since fishing stories aren't any good without pictures, that would mean I'd have to put my Leica aside and get one them newfangled digital things? That thought has actually occured to me once or twice. We'll see what I can come up with. Cheers.

I used to be a frequent lurker on photo.net and had read of someone that had digital backs. I don't know if they're available for all models. Google is your friend.Mack The Knife Bana";p="46318 wrote:Is that sort of thing really possible? Now that the thread has already gone a bit off, I'd suggest TwoRivers, look into getting a digital back for your Leica. Would it be possible to find these digital backs for an old Minolta 700?

And waste time snapping pictures while the fish are biting? Eh? Thanks for the heads-up. Will check that out, though it will probably cost more then a new digital camera, and be even bulkier. Cheers.
