Actually Brownell's and all other US retailers require an export license for gun parts whose value is in excess of $100 and/ or if the parts in question are - the barrel, receiver, action etc. So it should not be a problem so long as the gun sights in question are priced below $100 (excluding postage, handling etc.). However, convincing Indian postal customs may prove to be tricky... don't know anyone who has tried to import such parts via post so cannot comment on the reception your parcel will get on arrival here.

May be best to have them delivered to a friend's place in USA and have him/ her carry it back for you.

Cheers!

Do you have a pic of the rifle? Also you need to measure barrel diameter to choose the right height for the front sight.

Is the barrel already drilled and tapped for sights? If so, do you have the measurements how far the holes are located from each other?

Why would you want to change the sights on a Mauser. They work fine...

Also what kind of sights do you have in mind?
