Hi Folks
I have read the Rules and appreciate that something which was common sense in yesteryears when India was all about Shikar and guns having pride of place in most households. However it is indeed prudent to drive it in to everyone as the times, they have changed.
Thanks for the warm welcome it definitely makes it worth joining your site after contemplating whether to or not.
Rgds more on self next time.
And Hi VJOSH

My prized possession is a S*S JV Needham 12 bore with custom ordered both choke barrels handed down from my grandfather as a family heirloom.
I also own a .22 air rifle of IHF.

Hi Debojit,
Welcome. Hope we once again gain as much knowledge here together as we did in the factory in 1994.
Enjoy,

Welcome aboard Deb.
Re registering Lic in Munnar, get a TL first from DM in Dibrugarh, for carriage of fire arms.
The have them inspected & registered there locally, due to change in residence, should not be a problem.
The DM in Munnar will continue to follow up with the DM in Dibs to get the NOC etc, that process takes a couple of months, but atleast you have your arms with you.
HTH
Cheers

Thanks a lot Sanjay, your post has atleast pointed the direction.
Also Veejosh those were some incredible times we had in '94 at the Borsapori factory. The memories are really awsome!!!
