A few words about Mr. Pandian, whom I met a couple of months ago. He is a lawyer by profession and a member of the Chennai Rifle Club. He doesn't stock up firearms. The last time I met him, he had two Indian-made DBBL guns for sale. It seems he places orders for customers based on requirement. He has a very good collection of antique firearms. One among them was a .410 bore double rifle owned by the Maharajah of Pudukottai. He, however, deals with IHP air rifles, but I don't find the pricing as reasonable as Aimco or Kovi shop.

I would like to add one more thing about Mr. Pandian. A few years ago, some gypsies were arrested in Villupuram district on charges of murder. The police also confiscated their guns and licences as the murdered person had been shot dead. Finally, the murderer turned out to be a local villager who had stolen a gun belonging to the tribesmen while they were asleep and used it for the crime. But, there was none to speak up for them. Mr Pandian took up the issue legally and managed to get them back their guns and licences, besides getting them acquitted.

hi everybody,
i have visited Mr. Pandian's armoury, its his very residence itself. Very interesting person to talk to, and a good collection on antique guns, mostly DB guns.
I took my 2 decade old IHP model 35 (.22). to him and after a week he gave it back to me in such a beautiful

condition back to me, also he replaced both the Sights on the rifle and only took the cost of the sights, did not take any money at all for the superb work he done on the gun.

During our convesation he told me he had a Walter break barrel (not sure which model), some time ago he dismantled it and cud not get it assebled back, if anyone of u cud help him out, im sure he will be very happy.

I had contacted two times both times I got the very poor response from him.
His attitude is very rude .during our telephonic conversation I asked what are DBBL you have for selling.he told only if you are going to buy from

me then only I can show this gun.otherwise I LL not show and he need original license

for showings gun .and he I told I am busy don't come if you are coming only for enquirey or seeing gun.
With big laugh I disconnected the phone
