The pictures themselves are worth watching time and again. I must say that the taxidermist did a good job. how much did he charge you for that?
Do share the hunting experiences with us.
Only wish that India would open up hunting legally (at least on a small scale) then we all will be happy :-)

hi sniper :)as u said,he has done a very good job.i paid $500 for the bear and the deer head was a gift for me from my taxidermist friend.i didnt mind spending $500(20000 INR) for the bear as i wanted to give it as a gift for my dad.i used a .303 for the deer and a couple of 12 gauge slugs for bear.u can see those pics in another thread in hunting forum :)

very nice trophies. esp the rack. i really envy you. can you please tell me about the outfitter, cost and the firearm, ammo used?
can you also tell me about the taxidermist used and the cost?
any particular reason for opting for a shoulder mount for the bear?
I have also noticed that the current trend in taxidermy is for the trophies to have a more benign expression, despite the open mouth whereas in the past, the animals had a more fierce expression.

sorry for the late response shooter...the taxidermist is woods and water taxidermy of campbellford,a 2 hour drive from toronto.the price depends on size and i opted for a shoulder mount due to space restrictions(i live in an apartment).the ammo used was .303 for deer and 12 gauge slugs for bear with a browning pump action :)
