Dev wins Bronze at Delhi State Shooting Championship
Our very own darling, Dev has won the Bronze medal at the Delhi State Shooting Championships in the 50m 3-Position 0.22 Long Rifle event held at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges in Delhi on 1st April, 2008.
Many many congratulations, Dev for your achievement. We are all proud of you and wish you many more medals and citations for glory in shooting sports.
In fact three of us, NM, Dev and me participated in the events. Nishant and Dev competed in 2 disciplines - 3 Position and Prone; while I only competed in the 50m prone.

Thank you guys. I was about to write about it but Olly types as fast as he shoots. .
It took a lot of help to get here the big bully Mack The Knife lent us his jacket and tutored me over the phone, thanks to you I understood that there really is nothing called a fixed position , Vjosh helped in a way that's unimaginable let's say that he used incredible connections to deliver stuff that we needed- and I have only got to met him once till now God Bless him, Asif helped by spending an afternoon zeroing my air rifle and plying me with the choicest food, fishing videos and adult beverages.
Sanjay as usual stood like a rock goading us on and of course my very resourceful two fellow gun fanatics: Nishant and Olly. We all went through the pains of getting into the Delhi State, getting the rifle from the guys at Tuglakabad and then discovering that we could at best shoot 30 practice shots each. Thanks to our wives for understanding the weekend spent having too much fun. Guess when you suspend skepticism a lot is possible, like the Delhi Police guys who lent us their equipment and taught us how to use them.
Thanks to this great board and all of your good wishes.

Good show! That includes Anupam and Nishant for participating.
Dev, the friend who has the book on target shooting hasn't responded. Will send you something else. The problem is that it is a bit advanced compared to Parish's work.
It's important that you rid yourself of any bad habits at the outset. You could do worse than pick TenX's brains on this subject.
Well done, once again.
