180 grains, and it is quite good. The bread n butter 30-06 round in India for over 30 years.

Winchester silvertips are better, if you can lay your hands on them, otherwise even RWS is sold in India off and on. Check which dealer has them, the Kashmiri gate Gun shops usually so stock some good ammo.

I don't think Lapua, Fedral or Remington is available in India.

HI! NRAI had sold out all its stocks last year. last when I checked they are not interested in importing any .30-06 ammo as they had a lot of problems sacking off this lot - The bread and butter of NRAI - AR pellets, .22 fodder, Scattergun feed and wadcutters do come in several times a year.

S&B ammo is very decent.
In terms of bullet wieght and effectiveness.. depends on your twist rate, barrel length and application.
But as along as the accuracy youre looking for is minute of soda can at 100m it doesnt matter.
When you want to start tack driving then everything changes ,

I would happily shoot S&B rather than Winchester or Federal et al. At least for non rimfire and 6.x mm calibers.

Shahid Bhai,
Lapua in .22 cal is available with NRAI and also DSRA... it is priced at 6 bucks a pop at the range, but the shells have to be returned...

+1 for Lapua .22 LR espeically the Midas M and Midas L range. They tend to shoot better in some barrels than the Eley tenex.
Though as a rule of thumb all gun related items are cheaper in the US
