Eljefe, it's been a few years since I caught a mahseer on ragi, i've always used artificials. Rapala plugs, rubber shads and mepps style spinners are normally what I use. The rapala saltwater plugs come with decent hooks and don't need upgrading. I change the split rings and trebles on the other lures to stronger ones. VMC 6x trebles are what I use.

Thanks Mack The Knife,

Another lovely expedition and great fishing. We have to travel ten hours to get water like what you have at WASI.

Regards,

Dev

Inder, be at my place by 4:50 a.m. SHARP!

Besides your fishing tackle bring some light snacks and a 2 litre bottle of water for yourself.

Do you have a 1 litre flask or larger? If so, fill it with boiling water and bring it along.

Bigger the better. Fill it up to the brim. We are going to use the hot water to make cup noodles. Pran's idea.

Sudhaiob, where and what do you fish for?

PS- and a new piece of 'kit' from CRKT
