Hi webgupta,

.303 shotguns? Hearing about that for the first time. Would they be instead the .410? In any case they are PB.
What kind of factory? Are you sure it's in the factory's name? I thought the Arms act only allowed individuals to be issued with licenses- and if it is just so transfer would be the simple matter of applying for one(Needless to say with a fresh license in your name)
Do clarify the licensee thing.

CC,

Organisations/ companies too may have licenses issued to them - for e.g. Banks have guns on their (the Bank's) own licenses. The watchmen/ guards are then entered as "retainers" on these licenses for the duration of their posting in that capacity.

Webgupta, there is no such thing as a .303 shotgun! However, there ARE .303 rifles converted into single shot .410 gauge smooth bore muskets/ shotguns. Unlike the normal .410 gauge shotguns these muskets employ a .303 full brass shell that instead of being bottle necked (like in the rifle) has straight walls, their magazine well is stuffed with a piece of wood effectively making them a single shot gun...

Cheers!

the litany of gun abortions is indeed a long one.neither fish nor fowl and considered a PB at that.
Webgupta, please clarify what is the firearm type and licenced issued to whom, for any advice from this forum.Would appreciate a fair bit of english, not text speak- we do things the old fashioned way here and encourage and enjoy it.
