The shooting events will take place at the KSRA range.

Mack The Knife, what's the MQS?

I'm bad at 50m. I'm thinking of practicing air rifle at 10m and giving it a shot. What would one be allowed to practice with at 10m in the range?

You participating in anything?

What's the team event about?

As far as it has been the last few times, I have got in non-members to participate in events. It is a good chance to bring friends over and let them participate in air-weapon events. But, of course, cheering (silently) is always welcom. However, any 'disturbance' of over 1.2 decibel by a spectator is a welcome invite for trouble from an old vulture that hangs around the range.

None.
I'm bad at 50m.
Hardly surprising considering the utter lack of interest from your end.

Any .177" calibre open sight air-rifle irrespective of the mechanism.
You participating in anything?
10 metre open sight air-rifle and 25 metre Standard Pistol.
What's the team event about?
You can form a team with two other shooters who are participating in the same discipline/s as you. You can make a team for one or both the disciplines you are participating in.

Ouch.. I'm toying with the idea of picking a National .177 and practicing for a fortnight. What say?

If you are only going to use it for a couple of weeks, you may be better off using one of the club's air-rifles.

Also i am submitting my application for KSRA in the 2nd week of Feb (delay due to PVC)- so will not be able to apply as a member.

Can non members participate?

AFAIK as per current NRAI rules only O/U are allowed for clay disciplines... I would assume that they'd be following the same rule book. However, IF they DO ALLOW the use of SxS shotguns, you could try out Skeet... but be sure to pick a gun with very open chokes for skeet (since it is shot at closer ranges) AND since Olympic Skeet rules DO NOT allow you to premount the gun, it should be a gun that fits you well and comes to mount rapidly... else, you won't have much of a chance... IMHO using a SxS game gun for trap would be starting out with a major handicap...

Cheers!

Since team medals are awarded based on the cumulative tally of all 3 members, you are not really helping your chances by saying that... ;)

Since the NRAI rules may not be followed to the letter, a SxS may be permitted. Check with the officials.
Can non members participate?
No. If they change this ruling and I am told about it, I will post it here.
