Colt Colteer .22 Rifle

Post by Sakobav » Thu Jan 17, 2008 7:07 am

During my recent India trip I got to shoot my cousins semi auto .22 rifle. I didn’t note the details of this gun maybe because we were too busy prying out IOF .22 shells from the chamber and removing wax from the bullets. I mentioned this gun to Grumps, this aroused his interest for a Colt Semi auto and like always he traced it down. This is a Colt Colteer .22 semi auto gun with tubular magazine and it was built between approx 1965-1975.

Hi Navi, Ignore me if you know it already, we need to take the wax off all the .22 cartridges before we shoot them.We used to keep a couple of cadets at the range just for the job.LOL.

So Vikram with oil prices at $100/barrel IOF should be hiking the cost of bullets. Yup I have done that too hehe
