I'm liaising with two different vendors who organize such events(for pricing reasons). They do provide end to end support for the event, conveyance may be the only other factor we need to look at but that shouldn't be too much of a worry. I'll post further details in my next post, gotta rush right now.

Alrighty then, not many have signed up, but still we can go along with the existing IFG team which is:

1.Olly
2.Mundaire
3.Sid
4.Yours Truly
5.Dev
6.Kanwal

I'm not counting on the acolytes to make it,as they have some commitments(they are probabilites, so I didnt count them in for this, will leave them out till D-day).

No sweat though, as we dont need too many people. For Speedball, the minimum group size is 3. For a Columbian Counter Attack, minimum group size is 5, as it's a larger field and a longer game. So we are good to go. Please confirm your participation, and I shall have a quick discussion with Mundaire as well prior to setting it up the with the vendor.

Charges are-
650/person for a game of speedball
1000-1500/person for a game of speedball and Columbian Counter Attack(need to confirm the recent rates on this one)

Kanwal this is the gear the paintball guys suggest you bring along.

1.A towel to wipe off your sweat.
2.Bringing a change of clothes is not a bad idea, if you have any plans afterwards, as you might get sweaty.
3.Bring Sun Block, if coming during the day.(

wouldnt know about that)
4.Camera & film
5.Most important – A sense of Adventure!

Guys, I have a choice of locations available,

1. Near Damdama lake
2. 32nd milestone

Got the rates down pat now, Rs 500 for speedball and Rs 1500 for Speedball and Colombian CA combined.
32nd milestone only has the speedball course now, the CCA is being set up, and will be done in two weeks. Damdama has both, traveltime is the only negative(if I may put it that way).
The vendor is the same, the paintball co. You can check out their website, it's got everything including the directions to the Damdama lake facility.

Spoke to Mundaire yesterday, and to ensure max participation we'll hold it over a weekend. Lets decide where we want to go and get this thing on the ground. Does this Weeekend suit everyone ?

i just spoke to a colleague of mine who visited the 32nd recently. All she had to say was the 32nd milestone one barely had any space for more than 3 - 4 ppl plus its just a room with nothing in it. Nothing to hide behind or any other thing you could hide behind ('take cover' would be quite inappropriate). would see if can visit it (32nd milestone) one of these days. would let you know how accurate my source was

I have a sneaking suspicion, that may be an accurate summary of the place.
I havent seen that venue in full functional mode though. I had visited this place about 1-2 months ago and they were setting up something inside the building adjacent to the go-karting tracks.If thats the building then it may well be a hen coop.I'd thought that they were just advertising paintballing on the building walls and the actual venue would be outdoors.

Not to be I guess, would be bad if they are trying to short shift the sport into something like this. However if this is true, we are left with the Damdama facility.

I'll visit the venue and check it out.

32 mile stones is a small place ..... info is correct.

To have ultimate fun of this game go for the other location at damdma lake. Here is the info. I got :

AT Damdama Lake -
1. Speedball - Rs 650 per person per game
2. Counter Attack - Rs 1150 per person per game
3. Combo of both games - Rs 1500 per person

AT 32nd Milestone -
1. Speedball - Rs 500 per person for 1 hour on the field
2. Target Shooting - Rs 150 per person
