Introduction
Dear All,
Its a great feeling to be a part of this site. I had learnt shooting during my NCC days (.22 calibre rifle, 7.62mm rifle, .32 Smith & Wesson revolver & 12 guage DBBL shotgun) and since then I have had an abiding love for the sport. I will be looking forward to increasing my knowledge and contributing what best I can.
Yours truly,
Yashwanth

RP.

It's always better to have a gun and not need it than need a gun and not have it !

Re: Introduction
Dear All,
Thank you very much for such a warm welcome. I am a banker by profession (The guard at my bank "shoots" me suspicious looks whenever I am eyeing his DBBL ). While I do not own any firearm, I hope to buy an air rifle in the coming future, with guidance of course from the various forums posted already on the site.
Thank you all once again.
Warm regards,
Yashwanth

Re: Introduction
Talking of banks and security guards, last week I saw this security guard in ICICI bank, MG road walking with a shotty in one hand with the muzzle pointing at me. Are these guys trained in handling fire arms at all?

Lucky you Pran.. do you know that the guards guns are most often loaded??
I normally stay away from guards whos guns are not hanging behind their backs... i.e. muzzle facing the sky/ceiling.
my observasion is that the guards who move with the cash vans are a little careless in nature. while the guys who sit the whole day outside the branch are more mellowed down (maybe they get a lot of time for introspection)
