My Uttaranchal trip
Some of you guys who are already on IA may have already seen this since it's a clone of my post there, but for those who are'nt here goes.---
Well guys i'm back from my trip to Uttaranchal.Spent two weeks in the most amazing places, covered almost 4000 km,encountered 7 rivers and am dog tired but happy as hell .
Fishing wise not too much luck but it was a pilgrimage to some great fishing locales!
The catch was an Indian trout at Beas Ghat and two small mahseer (estimated by the ghillie at 1.5 kg and 300-400 gm respectively) at Marchula.
To do real justice to these spots i probably should have given 3-4 days to each and not the few hours i could manage but then thats always a good excuse to go back
Got to meet up with Asif at Delhi and was treated to some cold ones and a sumptuous meal at a gourmet joint called Ploof at Lodhi market..Really needed the dose of red meat after 12 days of mostly veg food and i really
tucked in! Thanks Asif!
Would like to share some of the pics from the trip with you guys.
So here goes!

Yaj.
