CO2 Cylinders - 88gm or 12gm

Post by shahid » Sun Sep 09, 2007 1:15 pm

A very close friend of mine resident in Banglore, Kaarnataka had carried a Walther PPK by Umarex from Dubai.

He has run out of stocks of the 10 or 12 boxes of Walther 12 g Co2 cylinders he had.

WOuld any IFG member know name / number of a dealer in Banglore who sells Walther, Gamo, or Daisy or Desi CO2 cylinders ? And the price please if you know it.

Have him call:

1) Murtuza of Bangalore Armoury at 9448471478.

or

2) Ayaz of Asian Armoury at 9845019625.

Price could be anything between Rs.175.00 to Rs.250.00 per capsule, assuming they have stock.

Quite fair actually. Local price in Dubai is Indian Rs. 499 for a box of 10 x 12 g capsules.

There are import duties, transportation and other expenses involved. Transportation of these CO2 cylinders is prohibited by Air Cargo. TNT Express parcel does them at very different rates.

Hi All,

One of my friends has run out of co2 cartridges/capsules for his pistol/revolver.
He has been asking me as to where he can find co2 capsules?
Can anyone help with information on where to purchase co2 cartridge
and also is it possible to order these capsules online, say through AirGunDepot?

I will let know the exact model of the co2 powered air handgun he has.

Sincerely,
rahulk

Wouldn't it be worthwhile if someone in India manufactured CO2 capsules...?

I mean its not rocket science (perhaps it may be for the likes of DRDO, ARDE, OFB...)...and I don't suppose any clause of the Arms Act does it?

There's money to be made as well... :)

Anyone?
