Seems like poaching happens with sticks...atleast that what it seems from this Reuters report.

Cheers

A few month's back, wasn't there something similar in the news about a bear that had wandered into a J&K village? IIRC it was burnt alive by the villagers, AFTER they had thoroughly thrashed it with sticks etc...

The entire thing was recorded by a news camera crew and was telecast all over the national TV channels... the only "wild animals" on that video were walking on two legs....

Cheers!

>Khan suffered multiple injuries in the attack.

That's bad. Was expecting it to be more like "The bear fed him to it's cubs"

Bravo Bruin! Having said that,I do not gloat over a fellow man being mauled by wild animals. But, poachers need to get what they deserve. I have known of cases of bears stoned to death that strayed into villages/ fields in search of water in the dry summers. Also, I have seen a few extremely severely mauled persons by bears.

I just watched the video of the bear being burnt alive and stoned to death. That poor beast just sat there burning and these savages kept hitting it with boulders   . My knees went weak with horror.Probably if they had guns they would have shot it not prolonging its misery. Oh, sometimes it's too shameful to feel proud to be humans.I am disturbed.
