nationals venue change?

HI! I have heard from 2 diff. reliable sources that sincne the Jaipur Rajasthan range is not ready the December nationals will not be held there. I heard that Ahmedabad and sone other association are wanting to host the Nationals. After last years Chennai fiasco this is the second year running when there will be a change in venue due to ranges not being ready on time for competition.

its oct already and shooter(s) dont know where they will be shooting?
thats disgraceful. i was told it will be ready for dec competition.
i was hoping to get some practice done there myself in nov as every range would be in the best condition befor december.
ill try to gather some info for u shutzen and maybe some jaipur members could help us here.

HI! just got info that the nationals venue has been shifted to AHMEDABAD and the dates are from 28 dec. to 6 jan. Frickin joker who made this schedule up should be hung frm his b*lls so many weddings and newyears and you go to ahmedabad....bad planning. I once remember they held a comp. in the middle of dusshera...

Ahmedabad... that would be smack in the middle of the "driest" state of the land.... :lol: Well, should help ensure steady hands while shooting if nothing else... ;)

I feel sorry for the blokes who have to shoot in the first detail on 1st Jan. :mrgreen:

BTW, dates such as these have been known to have been changed in the past, so all's not lost yet.

Rustum, I hope you are right and the dates change ... I have informed the old man who is in Agra to get this confirmed. Will update as I get more info.

The other ranges are or may not be ready but the Nationals for Clay pigeon shooting are going to be held at Jaipur from the 17th to the 23rd of Dec. as the Trap and Skeet ranges were ready way back in Feb. where the Masters Shooting Championships were held in Feb. with the inauguration of the range. It is a better range than the one in Tuglakabad(Delhi)
The day guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.
