Great Going Anupam & Dr. Asif.. Whilst on this subject, Collecting guns is one of my wistful dreams. I wonder if a collectors licence is a possibility here in India?? I remember seeing a good collection of weapons in a privately owned museum in Pune (forgot the name) I am of the opinion that collecting old defunct and 'no ammo available' guns would not require a millionaire's budget even in India. Maybe SSS would be able to wake me up from my dreams..

Great thoughts Jonah ! I am sure State governments may not create too much hassles for a collector's license. The DC/DM only need to be convinced... Do give it a try...
I do have my eyes on a Mizo bowie !! Yet to see the one that Doc has... need to add that one to my collection soon...

Unfortunately there is NO provision for a collectors license under the Indian arms act/ arms rules, neither is "collecting" considered a valid "need" for issuing an arms license...
Sorry for the damper guys...
Cheers!
