So long as the use is ONLY airguns it is perfectly legal and requires NO paperwork whatsoever... For a firearms range you would need permissions from the local DM/ SDM and/or police clearance.diskaon";p="29060 wrote: very interesting.. home range.. does anyone have any info on the legalities.

Re: starter pack
home range for airgun shooting ,for personal use,as far as i remember one of the ifg member long time back had fabricated a home made target machine and it was good fun, dont know whether those posts were still there,
but a home range whatsoever is always interesting.

in punjab we do lotsa trap out at our friends farm in t hills, no civilization around
so no legal problems so far
thats how most of the shooters practised before several ranges came up

shotgun ranges should be fine, i think. as long as you keep a sensible distance from living beings. you can actually see moving traffic ( )in your line of sight (far off, i hasten to add) at the trap range at lakenheath.deepinder";p="29077 wrote: well for fire arm range

fire arm (read rifle and pistol ranges), with their backstop requirements would be more complicated to plan, possibly involving more legal issues.
