So a brand new Cabela's opened up a minute away from my work. The downside is that my 'outdoors budget' has increased multiple times
Was in the store today with our old buddy Mehul and spotted a nice looking Eastern Arms shotty. I've always wanted a side by side and with the quail hunt coming up later this month, I wanted to get something for dad so we dont have to take 'turns'. At $299(used) it wasnt a big price tag either. Before I know it, I was filling the forms to make the purchase.
Oh well... another 'beauty' joins the family and this one is a keeper I know for sure.
I'm picking her up tomorrow. Pictures and details over the weekend for sure. In the mean time, let me know if anybody has any information about Eastern Arms!!
Cheers,
Amit

Re: Eastern Arms 12g SXS
Wiki Answers.com just says that :
"Eastern Arms Co. was a trade name used by Sears Roebuck. The guns were manufactured by Meriden Firearms, J. Stevens Arms, and others."
Which, I suppose, means that we`ll have to see the pictures of your gun before being able to suggest just what it might actually be. it would seem to be an absolute bargain though - an American made SxS for $299 can`t be bad !

Is he going to grace us with his company ? I am really hoping he does.
Salute..

Good idea. I'll call them but if they dont, I'll just take my clay thrower and clays. I have a box of clays.HSharief";p="29062 wrote:Amit, do you know if the place in Lincoln has a clay thrower so we can warm up before the hunt, just like we did last time. This will give us a chance to shoot each other's guns too
What is the status on Mehul baba ? I left him a vm begging him to join us. No reply yet.
No idea about Mehul yet... last I talked to him he was still considering.
