Sarosh,

1) Welcome to the forums, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

2) Unless you have a particular need for the laser I suspect it's days are numbered on your rifle. About the only thing I have found they are usefull for is specialized stuff like shooting from the hip if you are chasing after pigs in long grass, and even that is limited in use. (don't worry, you'll find out for yourself..)

3) I think you have a very nice looking rifle! I look forward to seeing more pics of it. M/S actions have one of the smoothest feels of any rifle action in my opinion.

Sarosh, would appreciate if you DO NOT use SMS English here.

Nice. With this lazer sight you will be able to enjoy night shooting.

When not useing for a prolonged time, remove the remote switch and the LR44 batteries from the laser sight.

There will be a windage and elevation adjustment screws on the front end of the laser sight. Use an allen key wench to adjust it and zero it on a range, at 50 yards and then 100 yards.

I suppose this mention of pigs is outside India of course.

Hi Sarosh, No worries. But, since hunting is illegal in India except in certain conditions,it is always best to clarify that while discussing those issues.Helps every one.

Shoot straight and have fun.Look forward to full pictures of your MS 30/06.

Best-
Vikram

Okay, Sarosh, let's see your crop protection permission. Failing which, I will delete this thread and if there is any more of the same, you will be removed from the site.

Until then, welcome to IFG.
