Vikram,
Shimon's course, I presume, will primarily deal with 10-meter target air-rifle/pistol shooting.
Best you wait for his reply as I do not actually know what the contents of the course are and wouldn't like to second guess him...well, not too much anyway.

Welcome to the forums Vikram, and remember that EVERYONE was a beginner at some point. And the smart ones are still learning!

Re: Hi, Vikram introduces himself to you all...
Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone... all these Hi's are a big support. Thanks for the information Mack The Knife, yes I got reply from Shimon's. Actually earlier I didn't know that 'indianshooting' was Shimon's!, I will discuss about the reply later, If need to... So Guys, as I will have lot of questions coming during the next days, Should I continue asking them here or somewhere else?
One question I have for now is that I live in Delhi, Do I need to hold an arms' license If I want to buy my first Airgun? And if yes, how easy would it be to get it...
Shimon's have got courses for air rifle/pistol and .22/shotgun, they say for .22/shotgun, I would need a license but not for Air Rifle, Does that mean I can own one without a license?
I was at Karni Singh's TKB day before yesterday just to get an idea, guards told me that 1982 weapons aren't working fine now so we need to get our own weapons. If I want to go for membership of some associations/club where I can rent weaponry, what are the options in Delhi?

No. Please post your questions in the appropriate sections. So Guys, as I will have lot of questions coming during the next days, Should I continue asking them here or somewhere else?
You do not need a licence to buy an airgun. You will need a licence to own a .22 rimfire or shotgun. If the range rents out .22 rimfire pistols and rifles and shotguns, you do not need a licence to use them at the range. However, have this point confrmed by the Range Officer. All live and spent cartridges must be returned before leaving the range premises.Do I need to hold an arms' license If I want to buy my first Airgun?

Thanks, I appreciate the information, it's very clear.. Allright so I will continue asking more in the appropriate sections now...
