Experts,

I need your take on a Stevens 12 gauge 32 inch barrel in 90% condition. Its going for under 40K.

Googled it, still confused. I had never really heard about Stevens till I googled . So I would need advice here.
Grumpy ? Rustum? penpusher Bhaji? whats your take?

BTW I let the SBBL baretta go I had asked about before . :(

best,

RP.

Stevens have been a division of Savage for some time. As far as I know the only current model shotgun offered is a foreign made O/U.
Stevens guns are ........ OK - Not great but not rubbish.
Check out the Stevens website :

Mehul has a Browning, not a Stevens.

I'm kinda biased, as my first 22 rifle was a Stevens Favorite. For the most part Stevens made/makes good guns. They were purchased by Savage way back when, but the Stevens Favorite is still manufactured.

I'd say it would be a good design provided it's not worn out.

Mark. I think you`ll find that the gun that Vikram is talking about is the gun Mehul had in India......and which he still owns. Whether that IS a Stevens or not I can`t remember. I`ll have to ask........or you can.
