Shooter that is where you are mistaken, a few forms of hunting is very much valid in India. In fact you can shoot Deer (various species), Hares, Turkey etc etc. and all you need for this is the latest version of Deer Hunter :-)
Deer Hunter 2005 is what i use :-) once you get into it its really addictive and is the closest you can get to hunting in this country.

Yes Deer HUnter 2005 is a PC game. you have other versions too. you can google it and check - lots to download.

i prefer cabelas big game hunter series. also their dangerous hunts and grand slam hunt series. i like the real life videos.
duckhunter at hunting.net is also very addictive.

Deer Hunter 2004, 2005 is better - the network version on the net is just amazing.

ok,its not free but its a very cheap cd to buy around 199/-...its remington topshot,i have it since windows 95 and it still plays till now in xp,...just amazing game with hunting,indoors paper targets,trap n skeet,breath control and choice of 17 handguns,rifles and shotguns..

I have a duck hunting game on my cellphone, called "Open Season"... The graphics etc. aren't that great, but it's decent enough "timepass" while waiting/ travelling etc.

It's in J2ME, so should be compatible with most Java enabled phones out there, you can probably Google it if you'd like to try it out... :)

Finally settled on Hunting Unlimited 3 & 4. No going back, this has to be the best out there.
