Lawyer for Arms license in Faridabad

Hello everybody,
Salaried man here, going to be applying for arms license and have looked at a lot of posts but still cannot seem to understand if I should take a lawyer for this or not?
And which is the best gun (pistol/revolver) in 2-3, even second hand?
Any and all advice is appreciated.

I do recommend getting one due to overcomplicated rules and regulations.

You can go with both in second hand if the price and the condition is good.
