If a well maintained .22lr Walther is fed on reliable ammo, which one certainly should use for self defence, then it should serve you as you'd expect it to in situations. I own a Walther ppk/s in.22LR and haven't ever had a jam due to it's design fault. Decided it was worth feeding it good imported ammo. This pistol was bought and imported by yours truly in 1984, good 24 yrs ago. I personally would trust this pistol as compared to any 32ACP with Indian ammo.

Dear Marksman,
Greetings
Just read a old submit dated 2008 regarding your experience on the Walther PPK in .22. It kinda helps me feel good on the purchase I made very recently.
Just wanted to know your experience on the cartridges you have fired. I purchased Winchester hollow point , have you fired these ?
What do you generally feel on the future of .22 calibre pistol ? will the enthusiasts win or will the people who buy guns for self defence win ?
Best wishes,
Chicky
