Precihole Air Pistol NP60 - Nitro Piston
HI,
Just noticed Precihole Sports have updated their website.. their rifle section now has NX100 NX200 & PX100, looks like they have discontinued other air rifle models..
Also on the air pistol page link : https://www.preciholesports.com/products/air-pistols
in the photo their is new model NP60 in rust free coating.. i think they are coming with nitro piston model of this pistol soon..
would be interesting to see if the current sp60 can be converted to nitro piston..
also regarding nitro piston airguns are they smoother to shoot. apart from power do they have any other benefits..
Regards,
Shiva

Yes. Nitro piston rifles are smoother , accurate and just fun to shoot. I have used both NX 100 and 200 rifle.

SP60 cannot be converted to NP , because internal design totally changed,

Re: Precihole Air Pistol NP60 - Nitro Piston
Purchased a NP 60 pistol today and fired it from 10 m to 25 m on a tin can. I was impressed with the accuracy and quality of the pistol.
Nitro Piston technology becomes more important in air pistols because with limited power consistency is very important and in spring air pistols when the spring gets weak the power goes down further considering that the power of an air pistol is less in the first place

So does this mean it's better to buy Np60 instead of the sp60?
What about the need for gas refilling after a few thousand shots? How expensive is that?
I'm confused between the two. Will sp60 last as long and perform just as well after a few years?

Re: Precihole Air Pistol NP60 - Nitro Piston
I have shot about 1800 pellets of various types with my NP 60 at different distances and it is still performing like new. I did not have to even adjust the backsight for taking longer shots. It's very accurate and no vibration like the spring pistols.
Go for NP 60 . There is no need to fill gas. If something goes wrong with the nitro piston the whole assembly has to be changed.

NP60 is good. I own it too. Only complaint is lack of accessories. added a reflex sight and the balance offset became too bad to hold it straight.
On Crossman 1377, you can change the whole stock and barrel. Can't do it with any Indian gun. Imagine, shooting it in a competition in as pistol, changing the stock, then firing it as rifle.

I shoot my NP 60 most of the time using both hands so the hold is not an issue for me I have not mounted any sights have kept it simple and the open sights which comes with the pistol is good enough upto 30 to 40 yards if not more and adds to the shooting challengedOwOb wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 7:38 pmNP60 is good. The price and performance ratio is good and the biggest advantage is getting spare parts easily and at reasonable cost

NP60 is one of the Best available in the market today. Very nice accuracy if the shooter has practice and skills.
