Update - was passing by the Atomic pond last week and just stopped to have a look...

(in the background you can see the tower in the atomic research centre complex - IIRC they were once caught dumping toxic waste here in the early 80's)

Don't think there will be fishing here any time soon... not that it was ever a particularly productive water body :P

Wouldn't it also negatively impact the aquatic life? I though water hyacinth was not good for fish :?
