SDB Sniper

Dear All,

I have read and seen a lot of reviews about the SDB Sniper .177 Air rifle.

Does any body on this forum own one? My point of concern is that the foresight and the rear sights are plastic material.

Need some user perspective before I decide to buy it.

I hear that is it better than the NX200 , both in FPS and Accuracy.

I heard it is more powerful than nx 200 but I am not sure about its accuracy. Little difference in power is not a big problem but accuracy in a rifle is an important factor.

Hi all, I do own a SDB snipper and Nx 200. Both guns are very good. I bought snipper because of it stock. It is beautiful.
Yes, we don't get the windage and elevation in snipper as we get in Nx200. The rear sight of Nx200 is very good compared to snipper, we miss the feel in snipper.
Yet, both guns are accurate. Using same 8 grain pellets SDB is powerful.
SDB is heavier than Nx.

I used both the ARs.
My observation as follows:

SDB Sniper is heavier than NX 200.

SDB Sniper delivers more power than NX 200.

SDB Sniper has advantage of convertiblity over NX 200.

SDB Sniper has two stage trigger, NX200 has double pull single stage trigger.
SDB Sniper has added advantage to increase/decrease foresight height.
SDB Sniper has manual lock, NX 200 has auto lock .

SDB Sniper , NX 200 both have windage/elevation system but both are not identical.

SDB Sniper has exchange sales facility for gas spring for Rs 800/- including courier charges which is cheaper than NX200.

My two cents are go to nearest shop and try them both and decide.
Sniper and nx200both are good airrifles but sniper has edge over mx200due to trigger and wooden stock.

I have gone ahead and bought the SDB Sniper. It is quite a powerful air rifle and very accurate as well.
