"I thought you wanted me to keep my trap shut on this one...."

No. It was only that I came across it yesterday and - having never seen one before - wondered how many others might have come across it. You might as well tell everyone what it is Dodger.

To be honest I am not too sure either. The closest Victorinox example that I know off is the Swiss Champ XAVT.

What the dicken's is it? I wonder if it's combination of Victorinox and Wenger tools to commemorate their merger.

It is, apparently, a Swiss Champ XXLT which is being offered on UK eBay. The opening bid has been set at £150............and there are no takers as yet.

Interesting. I had a feeling that could be a lighter in the centre but wasn't certain.

With 72 functions it gets pipped to the post by the XAVT which apparently has 80.

Thanks for the link.

And by the Wenger Giant which has 85 `tools` ............ those five extra items must be enormous as the Giant is about three times the weight of the XAVT !!! Probably include the `Swiss Hammer`, the `Swiss Shovel` and the `Swiss Anchor`.
The Swiss Champ is a bargain compared to those `super` knives....... ( and most other `pocket` knives ) - practical as well..........£36 including delivery and a bum bag is the best deal I`ve found so far.

If it`s the Wenger Giant you`re referring to Navi it is, apparently, assembled by just one person - who is extremely busy in the job. I wonder how long it takes him to assemble one ? Delivery is 4-6 weeks if you can`t find one in stock.

Utility ? No, there can`t be any practical apect to the Wenger Giant.....It is, as you suggest Navi, for placing in a cabinet and looking at.
