WEBLEY INDIA - CLARIFICATION NEEDED

Sirs,

A dealer is asking for 2.90 Lakhs for a Webley India Revolver of 4” barrel while another dealer had demanded Re 1.85 lakhs for the normal type. Notice that the 4” barrel Revolver has a longer handle grip, known as "Overhand" while the 1.85 Lakhs is "Conceal and Carry" with a smaller handle grip.

Please confirm whether these two take a difference of Re 1.0 Lakh. The picture inset shows a larger body mass too like the old London model. I am confused!

Going by the marking's this one looks like imported webley, pic 2 and 3

As far as I know there is no 4” barrel Webley India revolver and the photos suggest the same. It is probably an old revolver.

The 4" Barrel is an imported Webley Revolver.
It seems to be in very good condition.
These are not being made in India.
I cannot read the markings but the Indian made Revolvers do not have the Lanyard Ring,
(At the base of the Grip).

4” Indian Webley is not in market yet. It will be launched soon. Pic of first revolver has come up

The pic you have posted of 4” barrel Webley revolver is made in England and not India

Webly 4" revolver will be avialable around mid 2023 i.e. by June July. So if you can...you should wait as you'l be getting a brand new weapon that to made in india and price will also be less.
