Muzzel velocity of kf .22LR ammo?
Helo all can anyone in the group testing these kf .22 lr ammo chronograph test from rifle and if done what is the muzzel velocity get you from it.plz reply

As per my understanding it’s 1040 fps and it’s a 40 grain bullet.
Experienced folks could enlighten more.

I think .22 LR ammo by KF is standard velocity - should be around 1040 fps with 40 grain round nose.
Only a chronograph will give an idea of actual velocity. I used these rounds around 19-20 years back
I found some boxes had the odd couple of rounds go off with a much louder bang; probably inconsistent propellant feed during manufacture.
Also had a few problems with feed - sometimes would not chamber at all, as the case was oversize.
I trust these problems would be sorted out now. Any forum members with similar problems??
