New member from Mumbai, MH

Post by 032bore » Tue Jun 21, 2022 10:24 am

Hi folks!

I recently acquired my fire arms license and weapon (0.32 revolver- Webley & Scott, SIAL). The reason why I registered here is because I want to learn more about firearms and get advise for shooting guns in general.
I look forward to learning from all of you.

That's it.

Have a nice day!

032bore,
Welcome to the Forum.
Do post images and shooting review of your Webley & Scott, SIAL.
Did you buy the Short Grip or Overhand version.
How much did you pay for it.

Regards,
Jr.

Thanks for the welcome, I bought short grip version but bought extra overhand grip. Total cost was 2.2 lacs.
Will share pics and review soon.

Hi 032bore,
2.2 Lakh is a good deal for a new Revolver.
I have not had the opportunity to use the Indian made Webley.
The short grip is definitely easier to conceal and looks tidy.
Recoil is not much in a well made .32 Revolver,
So handling with a short grip should not be an issue.
The IOF Cartridge for the .32 S&W Long,
Definitely releases more smoke and residue as compared to the imported ones.
There is also a tiny bit of difference in the recoil (my personal experience).

Regards,
Jr.

Nice looking Revolver.
Seems to be well made.
Looks proportionate, same as the original Webley.
Congratulations 032bore.
Thank you for sharing.
Seems you discharged a few rounds.
How does she handle.

Regards,
Jr.

Mumbai is among one of the toughest cities in India to get an arms license. I too have a license from Mumbai. Congratulations for your acquisition. Do share some pics of your weapon.
