Buying imported pistol in india colt, dan wesson or smith and wesson

I am new to the forum and i will be transferring my residence to india and i want to bring a handgun under tr rules. I have shortlisted the following three. Please let me know which is most popular in india
1. Colt gold cup .45 acp
2. Dan wesson specialist commander version .45 acp
3. Smith & Wesson 1911 PC .45 ACP

Most popular in India will be some WW2 relic, would you buy that?
You have to choose a handgun based on what is most comfortable to you not based on what others think.

I guess what he means by 'most popular' is that which will fetch more money if he has to sell it in future or which will be more easier to sell.

I think Colt will be better to buy as it is more popular brand name in India.

Normally it can't but in some cases it can be sold for example if licensee wants his license to be cancelled etc.

As far as I know, they can be but the licensee will have to forfeit a firearms licence for life.

Well i can't imagine that situation with all the effort taken to import it. I don't think i can do it with my ppk but is some is just looking to make a profit out of it then its ok i guess.

Why ask what’s popular here . Get what you feel is the best you can buy for the money and is the best gun as per your liking . It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. You seem to favour the .45 ACP so go ahead and buy the pistol you shoot most comfortably and what seems like a good value for money . You cannot sell a TR import weapon so market value should be of no concern to you that’s unless you want to cancel your license .
