Hi Reddick,I didn't face any such problems,so I'm of no help.If you are going for a new gun,there are many good brands like Visco, Shaktiman,Modern, Bhati.Buy best one for you.

Hello Dear ,

I have a 2013 model Bhati And Co. , Jodhpur SBBL gun purchased in 2018.
Sadly , I'm not satisfied from it's performance while using 4.8 , 6 and other numbered cartridges
And on two or three occasions , I've used Spherical Ball and Hollow Point shells due to which the magazine tube expands from it's original size and the forearm got jammed
So I have to got it repaired from a local gunsmith and he warned me that not to use those two particular shells again .
Please guide me that which SBBL gun may be best , new or used , for general purpose at farmhouse and for home defense

But only with Spherical ball , hollow point and rifle slug.
If only these specifically three shells were used for two or three times in the PAG , the magazine tube gots expanded from it's original size which makes the forearm harder to move two and fro
So , the gunsmith advised me that not to use these three types of shells.
Rest 4.8 , 6 or other numbered shells were blasted very well without any problem

Hello bro... I have some confusion... You are saying that u have pump action... But we have also sbbl model 2013 made by Bhati... from jodhpur factory but breech loaded 32 inch barrel.....plz post your gun photo...i want to see... and also send your gmail id...i want to ask some detail..

So tell me... You have pump action or breech loaded made by Bhati & co?... and what type of choke used in it?

Firstly he said he has sbbl...which means single barrel breach loaded... not PAG..then he said in its 2nd msg that he has PAG..so i had confused... I had feared that when he was saying his gun got damaged due to slug...i thought his gun is sbbl 32 inch which type of gun's photo posted by me 4 5 day ago...now i am relaxed that he had pump action gun

Even a pump action or for that matter a lever or bolt action, would be "breech loading" actions... so long as you are not stuffing in powder and ball down the muzzle, they would be breech loaders, no?

Yeah....breach is called to opposite end of muzzle in barrel... In simply, all dbbl guns have break action mechanism whether they are side by side or overunder ..but sbbl include break action, pump action, lever action and so... In above he was claiming that his gun is damaged by slug... So i thought that he has break action gun bcoz we have also break action, same model , same company, same factory, which he has..... Then he cleared in another text that he has PAG..

If you interested to change your PAG, then iof PAG may b good option for you...material used in iof weapons always better than Indian private manufacturers ever.. you can use any type of slugs in it... what problem occurs when you will shoot birdshot...It has cylindrical choke and pattern will not good bcoz of wider spread pf pellets.. Now it depends upon you... if you shoot slugs mostly...than go for it...but not suitable for birdshot

Hello I am a new member in this forum. My name is Mrinmoy I am bashed in kolkata. I just got my license on sbbl shotgun. I was looking for a cheap single barrel Breach loading shotgun around 30k. Can anyone suggest me a good place in Kolkata where I could get the Gun in that range. I have heard name of visco but can you suggest me some other option as well.
