Hi All IFGns,
I have been an Airsoft enthusiast for over 20 years now. But never had an Imported Airgun except Blanca. Hence planning to buy one. Hence need help and Suggestions.
Well do not want to import because I know how that needs an License to do. So just want to buy from sellers based in India. Like Keilberg, Shogun, PyramidairIndia, Kovibazzar, etc. I would not go with Airsoftgunindia and PS internationals, as they are selling at high prices
I am looking for airgun with these specification it should have -
1. Blowback
2. Full metal
3. Safety switch
4. Working hammer
5. Slide catch release lever
6. Gun Design and its working replica to that of real firearm
7. Compact design
Before I had lots of guns in mind after lots of research like - Walther PPK, Sig Sauer P365, Beretta M84, Compact glock, Spring field armory xde3.3.
But all went down because there were some problems with all of these like -
PPK/S - Safety switch design is not as that of real firearm, slide catch release is also not the same as real, Mag is plastic & brittle.
Sig P365 & Beretta M84 - Out of stock with Sig P365 having leakage problems.
Glock - Expensive, not fit my budget.
Springfield XDe 3.3 - Not yet manufactured. Only 3.8 and 4.5 available but both out of stocks.
Hence finally I have did little more research and zeroed with these below Airguns but I am confused on which one to buy. I will also add details why I selected these models -
1. Sig Sauer P226 - Not as big as Beretta M92 type of guns, has cantilever type CO2 loading rather than an traditional screw in type, great FPS 380, said to be full metal (not sure) . Fit my budget, but only thing backing me from going for this is, its not compact and does not have slide catch. Also some international reviews said, the CO2 still leaks a lot..
2. Sig Sauer 1911 Spartan - Same as P226 but have slide catch release. But again only problem is its cantilever is not very user-friendly as P226, very hard to load CO2. Also has reviews of leaks.
3. CZ 75 P-07 Duty - Has everything I needed. But is not little expensive side and is also out stock currently. Also, I have not heard about this Czech based ČZUB guns. Are they good!!
4. Walther PPK - I still like it due to its compactness. And Also I guess its full metal (clarification needed). Please suggest.
So please help me out on below, so that I can decide -
1. Which airgun to buy from above?
2. Are Cantilever loading CO2 guns better than Screw type loading?
3. Many people are complaining about CO2 leaking. So are Greengas based Airsoft guns better than CO2 type guns? I have an Greengas revolver for 5 years, still working great.. I have a seller selling me barely used Colt M1911 airsoft, so I may go for it.
4. Why Greengas guns including its Gases not available in for sale anymore?
5. Who is the best seller to buy Airguns from mentioned above.
6. If Airsoft guns are still available for sale, where can I buy them?
I know the question is big.. Apologies.. But just want to get it clarified as I am spending a lot. HELP Appreciated..

Most preferably BB, but Pellet will also do. But I prefer BBs because they are easy to load..

Yes brother, they are fun.. But technically Plastic body BB pistols use 6mm BB and its guns varies from different cost.
My first Airsoft was back in 1998, an plastic Walther PPK toy with top loading BB gun which was just Rs.90. I bought 2 pieces from T Nagar, Chennai that time.
In 2015, I bought an HFC HG 131 Airsoft GreenGas Revolver (6mm plastic BB) which is 70% metal which costed me Rs.17000 and it has about 300 FPS with great accuracy. So, yes Airsoft guns are also accurate..
What I am looking for is an Airgun which fires either 4.5mm metal BBs or 4.5mm metal Pellets, which is predominantly used for Plinking especially in our country, as here we only get metal 4.5mm BB. I think you aware that in eastern countries they also have the availability to buy 4.5mm plastic BB, which they may use for competitive team shootings.
