Manufacturer's license from Ministry of home affairs or from DPIIT?

Post by KDS991213 » Wed Jun 09, 2021 12:42 pm

I was looking at the online arms application website (https://ndal-alis.gov.in/armslicence/) & found out that one can apply for a manufacturer's license in form 7 from both ministry of home affairs & Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade. Which one is the better place to apply from? Does anyone knows anything about this?

Apply with Ministry of Home affairs.

IMHO I don't think this online way of applying with actually work. Secondly, you will need a lot approach, money, time, patience, hard work to start from scratch and be successful.

Read Arms Rules 2016, almost all the rules and requirements are mentioned in it.

manufacturing license is issued by home ministry but just the application is not going to help there is lot of company documents and funding documents with CA certification etc needed with the application all this is just for application but getting a licence is total different story of its own.
