Couple of questions before buying PX100
I currently have NX200 and planning to upgrade to a PCP. I have a few questions if some kind souls could spare some time answering them.
1. Do the MZ 10 - Rotary Magazine come free with PX100? I spoke to a vendor and he said "No". I have seen unboxing videos where it came in the box.
2. I'm planning to buy a Kaiser PCP Pump 4500psi (300bar). What other PCP hand pump do you recommend within 10k budget?
3. Scope Mount: I believe there's no requirement for stopper as PX100 PCP rifle doesn't have any recoil. Is that correct?
4. Do the wood stock make any difference in handling or is it just the color? Is it really wood?
5. I'm planning to buy the following items along with PX100. What other accessories do you recommend?
a. MZ10 Rotary Magazine (if it doesn't come for free)
b. PCP Hand Pump
c. 16x Scope. I currently have 9x but it doesn't go well since I like to shoot long-range; 80-100m
d. Strap for carrying the gun
e. Silencer but it's not available anywhere. I might end up making using PVC pipe following some youtube tutorials.
Also, I noticed some are selling PCP Rifle Seal Kit for PX100. Is it really required to buy?
Any other thoughts before I buy?

Bro, I respect your choice of gun and acce. But in my limited experience with air guns, I found that .177 is not worthy for a long range shooting. It's good for competition and plinking.
As a comparison with my 35 year old .22 and 5 year old aarmar in .22 I compare a precihole in .177, as per range is compared both cal. Is not working after 35/40 yards. Even these are not punch a aluminium can though they hit it,
Scope is not of much use for a long range as after 40 yards the pellet starts going downward ( not to offend any ones view but it's by observation)
I am not sure of other hi power imported .177 guns as till date I have not used any. A high power AR in .177 with heavy pellet like exact beast or USA made 22 gr type pellet may be effective for a long range shoot.
I found that .22 with some good Rabbit shot pellet is good for a long range but that too under 50 yards ( these were done when .22 was not under restrictions)
I respect the choice and feeling of every individual but for me Scope and silencer for an .177 AR is not worth the value of acce. Like a high grade scope and a reasonably good suppresser
Regards

Re: Couple of questions before buying PX100
I actually use NX200 now and comfortably shoot 80m but due to limited space, I could not go further. Yes, every 50 feet, there's a drop of about 1 inch. So it really depends on the distance the scope is zeroed.
There's no fun shooting 30-40 yards targets. It's just too easy with a scope. I need a challenge. 80-100m is a good challenge in my opinion.
Thanks

2.All Chinese made hpa pumps are the same. You get what you paid for.
3.Make sure you buy right scope rings or else you'll not have enough clearance for inserting magazine.
4.Precihole wood finish stock is wood pattern hydrodipped fibre stock. It's not real wood.
5.Include bipod and rail for mounting those bipod.
Moderators are available starting from Rs1000.Choose a descent one.If you have access to a machine shop nearby you can make one yourself or have it made.
6.If the tolerances and build quality are right, your new gun should be trouble free without any leaks for a years. But you'll need it somewhere down the line. You'll also need silicon grease.

Re: Couple of questions before buying PX100
Do you intend to power tune it in near future?
Do you intend to shoot slugs out of it?
Do you want to modify it to a bullpup?
Are you buying online or from local gunshop?

Thank you. What is a moderator used for? For bipod?
Also, what do you mean by tolerances and build quality? Doesn't PX100 have the same build quality?

Re: Couple of questions before buying PX100
1. Power Tune? I have no idea! I doubt I will unless the Precihole comes out with an upgrade component.
2. Slugs?! Are they even available in the market? Why shoot slug?!
3. bullpup? I doubt it. Also, i don't think it's available in the market but in some select areas like Aizawl.
4. Online. Purchased and being delivered as we speak.
I bought the following: PX-100, Discovery Scope 4-16x44 SF, Silencer, Kaiser PCP Pump 4500psi (300bar) and few pellet brands like JSB, Precipell, etc. I'll try to get bipod in the coming days.

Here tolerance is machining accuracy.Low tolerance in air flow path can cause leaks.
No,not all PX100's will have the same build quality, unless manufacturers do regular maintenance of their machines and completely remove human error in the manufacturing process.

Re: Couple of questions before buying PX100
Simple modification like stronger hammer spring, heavier hammer ,widening transfer port can increase the muzzle energy of PX100.It'll give you flatter trajectory and extended range.
Zo-Air and Gsmith make .177 slugs in India.
GSmith hollowpoints- 14 grains Zo-Air Solid slugs- 16 grains JSB and H&N .177 slugs will also be available soon.
NSA .177 slugs are available with some dealers.
