Recent Launch by SAF "PRAHAR"

This morning I came across a news article about new launch by SAF Kanpur .32 bore revolver Prahar. There was no discussion on this handgun, hope gun lovers can throw some light on it.

Roughly till 2005, iof used to give leaf spring in hammers which gave lighter trigger pull. Then they switched to coil spring which made trigger pull really hard. Now they have again added leaf spring in 'Nishank' and 'Parhar'. It took iof fifteen years to simply lighten the trigger pull. Really very sad.

KF revolver cartridges also need huge improvement.

Vineet, I am so happy to shoot my Colt revolvers! They are over 100 years old, and yet so modern, not having coil spring lock work!

My assumption is They may launch one more may be call it as " NIHAR" & that is also 0.32 S&W long and model is Webly copy......I mean to say "STOP IT"......it is like in a hotel they call it as we have two dishes they are jeera rice & jeera rice without jeera.

We cannot get over the colonial legacy and thinking beyond 1890’s.

A distant relative has one of these abominations. She was very proud of it until I asked her to load it. And she could not actuate the break open lever and open it! Nuff said. After i wrestled the action open and loaded it, she has kept it loaded these past 8-9 years. No fears about an AD. She’ll probably have to have the trigger pulled by her jeep to cause it to fire!
